Welcome to the Picture Perfect Needlecrafts online store.  Hi, my name is Sue and I run Picture Perfect Needlecrafts from the ever growing town called Sunbury in Victoria, Australia.

It is not my intention to bore you but I would like to give you a bit of background on how and why Picture Perfect Needlecrafts was created.

I am relatively new to cross stitching although have dabbled in many crafts on and off since I was a little girl.  After going to the usual big retailers and attending craft shows I was very disappointed with the existing range and availability of quality cross stitch charts within Australia.  Over recent years I have seen the decline of cross stitch products in shops to make way for newer fashionable crafts.  It was in the search for something different than what the big cross stitching manufacturers could offer that Picture Perfect Needlecrafts was created.  I searched the net (as you do these days) and found some interesting cross stitch chart designers that could not be found in shops within Australia.  So now Picture Perfect Needlecrafts is making these exciting charts available at very competitive and reasonable prices online and by mail order (please email us for a copy of our mail order form).  Some of the charts we sell are available either via email or they can be printed and posted to you.  Other charts are only available printed and posted to you.  You won't find most of the designers we carry in shops within Australia.  And now we are selling our own brand of cross stitch kits ("Handmade Treasures" see below for more information).  Qsnap tubular stitching frames are a great alternative to the traditional hoop and well worth a try.  We now stock a range of Qsnap stitching frames.

So far Picture Perfect Needlecrafts carries charts from three international designers that are currently not sold in shops within Australia - Celtic Rose, Shinysuns, Purple Patch Designs, Mystic Stitch and Joan Elliott.  They are all experienced stitchers and have quality charts designed from artwork and photographs.  Please browse our ABOUT OUR CHARTS page to find out more information on any of the designers and charts we sell.  Although our range of designers is only small at the moment there is a broad selection from all of them and we are continuing to add to it every day.  Please continue to check our site for any new additions.

Recently Picture Perfect Needlecrafts acquired the proud Australian brand of "Handmade Treasures" needlecraft kits.  Funny enough, last year I finished stitching one of their kits & I just love their other designs.  The "Handmade Treasures" brand has a vast range of Counted Cross Stitch kits and Embroidery Kits. "Handmade Treasures" kits are designed by Australians which makes us even more proud to own the brand. We now have all available designs listed on the website for purchasing.  We are so excited to bring "Handmade Treasures" products to our customers at an affordable price.  Keep an eye out for future releases.

Picture Perfect Needlecrafts have a short term plan to introduce several more international designers charts, kits, books and stitching frames.  As there is just not enough available for children that want to learn to stitch or adult beginners, we have been sourcing some kits for beginners and found some great designs.  It is also in our plan to perhaps offer the charts that we currently sell, that are only available in chart form, as a kit.  Although, this is a long term goal for Picture Perfect Needlecrafts and will be looked at again in the future.  We will keep the site updated with any progress with our plans.
